Newington V.A. Federal Credit Union is a diverse organization that provides financial services to healthcare professionals and their extended families. The credit union will provide financial products and services in a professional, friendly and convenient atmosphere. Member satisfaction will be the measure of our success. Member Owned

The credit union is a cooperative established by the Federal Credit Union Act of 1934. Our charter was granted in 1936 under the name of Newington V.A. Federal Credit Union. The precepts set forth at that time are still in effect today. We are "People Helping People". The credit union is owned and controlled by you. As a member, you own a "share" in the credit union. Just like a share of stock you have a say in the operations of the credit union and earn dividends on that share.

Who We Are

For over 70 years the Newington V.A. Federal Credit Union has been servicing the financial needs of Healthcare professionals and their families. Governed by a Board of Directors and overseen by a Supervisory Committee, the staff seeks to implement the policies and services approved.

Where We Are Going

In November 2007 the Board of Directors held its Annual Planning Session. During this meeting the Board of Directors and management meet to discuss how to service the membership in a cost effective and effective way to meet all the financial needs of the membership. We are aggressive in our mutual goal to grow as family and as a credit union. We will be diligently working on adding new services to meet your needs in a cost effective manner.
